Identification method: ID by Harvard University. This piece came from a lot of material analyzed by Harvard and referenced in Dana's "System of Mineralogy" Vol. II, pg 859:    Sarcopside as occurring "in a small pegmatite lens in gneiss on the Gingrass farm near Deering, New Hampshire."
